Moving a growing construction firm onto ConstraPro.
Poduppil Constructions had years of history in a legacy system: projects, purchase bills, received payments and supplier balances. They needed to move to ConstraPro without losing anything and without the numbers changing.
I built a set of migration tools that read the old database, cleaned and de-duplicated the data, mapped it to the new models and verified that every total matched the original.

Years of financial and project history in a legacy system that could not be switched off until the new one matched it exactly.

A read-only, repeatable migration with integrity checks, Excel archives of the old data, and a cut-over to ConstraPro running on AWS with automated deployments.

Legacy data migration
144 projects, 12,700+ purchase bills, received payments and supplier opening balances migrated with totals matching to the rupee.

Data clean-up
Material names trimmed, normalised and de-duplicated; labour and expense entries separated from real materials.

Archives
Complete Excel exports of the old database and old website kept as a permanent archive.

Company website
Public website with projects, services and a construction cost calculator, managed from the dashboard.
